Purchases

Funds raised through PTO are used to purchase items that enhance our children's educational experience at Hillcrest.  Potential purchases are discussed and approved at monthly meetings.

Over the past year, some of the items the PTO has approved are...

• Music room projector
• Scholastic News magazine for all grades through 2012
• Summer School Scholarships
• Book Awards for Summer Reading Program
• Assemblies
• 6 Elmo's with projectors and carts
• Kindergarten registration folders
• PBIS Incentives
• Cricut (cartridges were donated by an Antioch resident)
• Library books
• Tumblebooks subscriptions
• Playground weather gage
• Raz Kids subscription for 1st, 2nd, and Multi-age classes for 2011-2012 school year
  
• Gym Equipment
• ID Tags for the Children's Backpacks
• Teacher Resource Fund (a fund distributed to teachers to use for materials in their classroom)
